NY Here I Come

Leaving for NY tomorrow for business. We have some time on Monday to fool around. I suggested this might be interesting (thanks kbb!). We’ll see if anyone else is interested.

I finished up the HBO series “Extras” and for the most part it was brilliant! The christmas special was sad and I cried (wasn’t this supposed to be a comedy?) but watching the featurettes made me laugh again so it ended on a high note. Ricky Gervais has the most infectious laugh ever!

Green Is The New Gold

I f*$#ing hate spammers. I am getting 80+ comments a day now that I have to delete. I don’t want to lock stuff down and I don’t want to have to put up a captcha. That’s just not fair to normal people.

SPAMMERS RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE!!!

Why? Why?!? How do they find sites and why do they do this crap?

That reminds me of a story I saw last week… this article about “green” web pages where there is also a link to this site selling some tools for “managing your websites environmental footprint” OMFG YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS! I should worry about MY footprint when there are spammers forcing me to lock down registration on my forums (which IS captcha’d, btw) and creating 80+ comments on here each day? Where someone is “concerned for the environment” there is always someone there to make a buck off Carbon Footprint Guilt (the Catholic Guilt of the millenium).

I’ll make my website as efficient as possible so these f*$#ckers can eat up all my bandwidth and spam me twice as fast. But hey, I can feel good about my CO2 emissions while they cost me money to hock their penis extension pills that DON’T work (or so I hear).

Now taking suggestions for new domain names.

I Need to Keep A Word Count

Something funny about two weeks of long meetings culminating in the words “boobs”, “tits” and “whore”. And there are days where I feel like I don’t get paid enough. This wasn’t one of them.

Mac Operates You
