iPhone Day Approacheth

I’m starting to get excited for my iPhone day on 8/22. I have nfc what I’m doing or how to use the dang thing but I’m sure I will spend all weekend figuring it out. It’s taken me 4 weeks of having it to figure out how to work the on-call Blackberry I still panic when I try to make a phone call. The first time I tried I was in Panera calling hubs to see what sandwich he wanted and managed to make an emergency phone call somehow. That was not sweet.

They better have some in stock or I will cry.

Mac Operates You

I don’t feel like I’m operating the Mac so much as I’m just there sharing the Mac experience and if I can do something useful while the Mac is willing, so much the better.

Tears Get You Nothing

Nothing that anyone else can’t get just by walking up and asking anyway.

Turns out anyone can get $500 for the same computer. But when she rang up the new computer it came up $1899 instead of $1999, so I got an extra $100 – w00t!

Next step… upgrade to Leopard. Given my Apple noob streak I don’t have high hopes for that going without problems.

Mac Attack

So I took the plunge and handed over a few thousand $$ for a 15″ Macbook Pro and so far (all of 30 minutes) I’m liking it. I went for the glossy screen. Looking at them both side by side there is no comparison, glossy is so much clearer and brighter.

So when you see me next, let me know if you think my penis is bigger.
